Richard E. GamacheRich Gamache is primarily engaged in patent prosecution and related matters for the firm. His areas of technical expertise include a broad range of electrical, electronic, and computer-related technologies including systems, semiconductors, and software. His intellectual property experience also includes patent infringement and validity studies, and trademark and copyright practice. Before joining the firm, Mr. Gamache was in-house patent counsel for a leading automatic test equipment manufacturer in the Boston area. He also worked as a research engineer for a well-known instrumentation company, where he performed research and development activities on dimensional gauging instruments using electrical and microprocessor hardware and software design techniques. Mr. Gamache graduated from Brown University in 1981 with an Sc.B. degree in Electrical Engineering and was admitted to the Tau Beta Pi engineering honorary society and the Sigma Xi scientific research honorary society. He received an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 1988. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1995 and was admitted to the Phi Delta Phi honorary legal fraternity. Mr. Gamache was registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 1995. He was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1996.
